Characters[]

Synopsis[]

The Smurflings must find a way to free the Smurfs from another mess - Brainy's sound barrier.

Plot Summary[]

The episode opens with Papa Smurf sleeping with his work. Brainy begins talking to Papa Smurf about stress factors. Papa Smurf begins convincing him that he is very tired from translating the ancient spells during hard work. He decides to take a nap after feeling very tired of translating. He later asks Brainy that no one should disturb his slumber.

When Brainy takes the ancient spell, he hears Baby Smurf crying loudly and Snappy playing smurfball with the other Smurflings with Nat telling Snappy to give the ball to Baby Smurf because there were going to play jump rope anyway with Snappy telling him he doesn't care and that baby Smurfs are much too little to play smurfball especially if it's his smurfball and Puppy barking. Brainy begins alerting the Smurflings that they cannot play near where their actions can disturb Papa Smurf, forcing them to go play in Forest to remain silent in the village. Brainy also convinces the Smurflings to keep Baby quiet with Papa Smurf in his slumber.

Meanwhile, Harmony is playing his trumpet until Brainy silences him by putting Smurfette's cloth in his trumpet. Brainy later finds Handy humming and hammering loudly. He is told to stop making noises while working. Handy is eventually not satisfied with this suggestion. Brainy later finds Lazy snoring loudly. He is later told to stay silent with Papa Smurf sleeping.

Brainy later tells all the other inhabitants of the village to be quiet when Papa Smurf is sleeping. Everything becomes peaceful after Brainy had told all the other inhabitants to stay silent until the birds begin chirping in the forest, which is when he decides to fix this problem once and for all.

Meanwhile, Papa Smurf is told by the other Smurfs that there is a dome surrounding the village. Papa Smurf later begins asking Brainy for help with the dome blocking the exit. Brainy later talks to Papa Smurf trying to stop the noises from the forest. Papa Smurf begins convincing him that the spells cannot be reverted when used, due to the dome blocking the path. The other Smurfs have a problem, that all the other actions are useless against the unbreakable dome. Papa Smurf tells them that only loud noise can break through the dome.

Meanwhile, Puppy and the Smurflings are having a discussion in playing a game in disagreements. They later approach the dome that is blocking their way to the village. Meanwhile, Papa Smurf and the other Smurfs have tried every sound in the village, but the sound barrier is unable to be broken. Papa Smurf calms Brainy and asks him about the Noisemaker of Echo Valley who is eligible to help break the spell.

The Smurflings watch Papa Smurf using sign language, asking them to find the Noisemaker in Echo Valley and get a potion to break the spell. The Smurflings later arrive at Echo Valley which is the home of the Noisemaker. They later ask the Noisemaker about a noise that can break through the sound barrier. The Noisemaker begins guiding the Smurflings about the different types of sounds inside different potions.

The Smurflings begin trying out different potions that make different sounds. Baby Smurf begins toppling over the shelves, breaking all the sound potions and angering the Noisemaker. He accuses them that they were the cause, when in actuality it was Baby Smurf who was the cause of toppling the potions. The Smurflings are later kicked out by the Noisemaker for causing a mess in his workshop. The Smurflings arrive back at the sound barrier and thought they are unable to break the spell. Baby Smurf has the potion with the pin dropping sound which breaks through the barrier. Baby Smurf saves the day when he used the potion on the barrier with every Smurf cheering including the Smurflings which Snappy picks up Baby Smurf and says that "Babies aren't so bad after all.".
