Why do cats always portray an evil character in cartoons? It gives children the impression that all cats are mean, thus causing them to dislike and distrust. I am the owner and operator of a daycare center, and I have seen children of all ages fear and hate cats as a result of cartoons and movies they've seen on TV, whether they've ever had a pet cat or not. I have two very sweet cats, and the children are always amazed at how friendly and playful they are. I think it is wrong for cats to be exploited in this way and without allowing children to see this species in a positive light.
