Pyramis is an elephant that appeared in the Smurfs cartoon show episode "A Circus For Baby". He is part of a traveling circus and is owned by Barrio, who hired Angelo to be his trainer. Pyramis is a well-trained animal and very friendly, but does not like it when his friends or his owner are being mistreated, much less when Angelo mistreats him.
In the story, Pyramis briefly ran away from the caravan he was traveling with and encountered Brainy and Baby Smurf while the former was teaching the latter about all the things he knows exist in the forest. Brainy thought Pyramis was a monster when he took Baby Smurf in his trunk and played with him, but as Brainy ran to get help, Barrio and Angelo caught up to Pyramis and brought him back to the caravan which was traveling to Lord Balthazar's castle for a performance that night. Baby Smurf tearfully waved goodbye to the elephant as they were both separated from each other.
Balthazar was displeased with the elephant's performance, and was further outraged when the elephant reacted by knocking a ball into his face and then spraying a burst of water on him. He told Barrio and his troop to remove themselves by morning or he will feed them to the moat monster. Later on, as the Smurfs entered Balthazar's castle to rescue Baby Smurf and were captured by the evil sorcerer himself, Pyramis came to their rescue, helping Hefty catch Baby Smurf as he was falling from a high rafter. After bringing the Smurfs to safety in the forest, Pyramis again parted ways and joined his master as the circus caravan moved onward.
