The Full Moon Festival is the event that takes place in the comic book version of "The Hundredth Smurf ." As Papa Smurf found out from his reading, the festival must take place on the 654th Year of Smurf, with a hundred Smurfs performing a special dance together on the night of a full moon. The problem Papa Smurf had is that the village only had 99 Smurfs to perform the dance, including himself. The problem would be solved when Vanity was duplicated by lightning striking his newly-completed mirror, resulting in the creation of the nameless "hundredth Smurf ."
