Ray Walston (March 7, 1916 – April 26, 2000) was an American stage, television and feature film actor who played the title character on the situation comedy My Favorite Martian and Judge Henry Bone on the drama series Picket Fences. He is also well known as the character Mr. Hand the teacher from Fast Times At Ridgemont High. In the Smurfs cartoon show, he voiced the character of an instructor at the Wizard's school from "The Enchanted Quill", the Season 6 episode that introduced the character of Scruple.
