Trivia[]

  • Unlike his American VA, Wieslaw Drzewicz is once credited first in the ending credits, rather than as last.
  • In the polish magazine called "Retro", Wieslaw Drzewicz stated that he wanted to make Gargamel "Warmful" to the kids, so he didn't make him sound that evil
    • This is seen several times as he (as Gargamel) calls Azrael "kitty" and Klakierku (polish for Azraely/My dear Azrael)
    • He also hated when (during the walk with his beloved female dog) his neighbor asked "What? Klakier was left at home?"
  • Despite being dead since late 1996, his Gargamel is still heard (as archive footage) in Smurfy Way's openings of 2006 and 2010 redubs
